Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WASTLE mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

Description of Service

WASTLE is a smart waste pickup service that connects users in Ghana with waste collection services. Our App allows you to:

  • Schedule waste pickup services
  • Track pickup status and history
  • Make payments for waste management services
  • Receive notifications about service updates
  • Access customer support

User Responsibilities

As a user of the WASTLE App, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Properly segregate waste as required by local guidelines

Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Provide truthful and accurate registration information
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Not create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes

Service Fees and Payments

WASTLE offers various service plans and pricing options:

Payment Terms

  • All fees are clearly displayed before purchase
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
  • You authorize us to charge your selected payment method
  • Refunds are subject to our refund policy
  • Prices may change with prior notice

Subscription Services

  • Monthly and annual subscription plans available
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but please note:

  • Service availability may vary by location in Ghana
  • Pickup schedules depend on service provider availability
  • We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance
  • Service may be affected by weather, traffic, or other factors
  • We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control

User Content

You may provide content when using our App, including:

  • Reviews and ratings of our services
  • Customer support communications
  • Feedback and suggestions
  • Photos or descriptions related to waste pickup

By providing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for the purpose of improving our services.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using our App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The WASTLE App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by WASTLE and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our App
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on our App

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WASTLE shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or delays
  • Actions of third-party service providers
  • Damage to property during waste collection

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the preceding 12 months.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold WASTLE harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of third parties.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For fraudulent or illegal activities
  • At your request (with appropriate notice for subscriptions)
  • For non-payment of services

Upon termination, your account access will be revoked, but we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be:

  • First addressed through our customer support
  • If unresolved, governed by the laws of Ghana
  • Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ghanaian courts
  • Resolved through binding arbitration if both parties agree

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and/or sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
